Hey sewing crew!!

One of my absolute favourite things in the world is upcycling old shirts into new, exciting pieces. There’s just something magical about taking a tired old button-up that’s been sitting at the back of the wardrobe (or worse… on its way to landfill 😱) and giving it a second life.

And THIS ONE… this one is a fave. I transformed a classic shirt into the cutest v-neck crop top. It’s flirty, fun, and so ridiculously wearable. Honestly, every time I put it on, I can’t believe it used to be a boring office shirt!

The best bit? Shirts are everywhere. They’re one of the most commonly donated (and discarded) pieces of clothing, and yet so many end up in landfill. In the UK alone, around 300,000 tonnes of textiles are binned every year and shirts make up a big chunk of that. The sad thing is, most of them still have plenty of life left in them… they just need a little creative twist. ✂️

That’s where we come in. With just a few cuts, a bit of stitching, and a sprinkle of imagination, you can turn that unloved shirt into a new wardrobe favourite. And don’t worry I’ve made it super easy for you. You can download all the instructions here and whip up your very own v-neck crop top.
