Nothing says summer quite like a handmade tote bag!

Join me in my cosy Croydon studio for a relaxed 3-hour sewing workshop, where you'll create your own stylish striped tote bag that's perfect for beach days, shopping trips, picnics or carrying your latest fabric haul.

This workshop has been designed with beginner sewers in mind, making it the perfect introduction to using a sewing machine. You'll learn the fundamentals of sewing in a friendly, supportive environment while creating a bag you'll use again and again.

To make the most of our time together, all fabrics will be pre-cut and prepared before you arrive, so you can focus entirely on learning and sewing. You'll also be able to choose from a range of beautiful striped fabrics to make your tote uniquely yours.

During the workshop you'll be guided step-by-step through every stage of construction in a small group, learning skills including:

• Getting confident using a sewing machine

• Sewing straight, accurate seams

• Creating and attaching sturdy handles

• Adding a practical front pocket

• Constructing and neatly finishing your tote bag

As an added bonus, you'll also receive a digital copy of the sewing pattern to take home, so you can recreate your tote in different fabrics whenever inspiration strikes.

Morning workshops include a hot drink and refreshments to enjoy while you sew.

Evening workshops include a glass of prosecco (or a soft drink if you'd prefer), making it the perfect creative evening out.
